About this collection

In 1951, as part of the company's fiftieth anniversary commemoration, Ford Motor Company began an oral history program directed by Owen Bombard. By the time the program ended in 1956, over three hundred interviews were conducted, 238 of which were transcribed, indexed, and bound.
